Meet Lisa Sells, LPC, LMHC
Welcome, you’ve taken the first step.
You are not Alone
You’re in the right place.
I’m here to help you make lasting change.
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and a steady presence. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in TX, VA, and DE and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in WA, and I’m deeply committed to creating a safe, collaborative space for healing and growth.
People I’ve worked with often describe me as caring, compassionate, non-judgmental, and authentic. I bring a person-centered, eclectic approach to therapy. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
My style
I believe that change comes when we feel truly seen and understood.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stuck in old relationship patterns, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can help you reconnect with your inner strength and move forward with intention. I’m honored to be part of that process.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you decide if working together feels like the right fit.
My guiding principles
Authenticity over Perfection
As a therapist, I show up as a real person—present, curious, and deeply engaged.
I believe therapy is most powerful when we can be real with each other.
Collaboration over Fixing
Therapy is a partnership—we’ll work together to uncover insight, shift patterns, and move toward what matters most to you.
Compassion over Judgement
You deserve a space where you can speak openly and feel accepted as you are.
Dedication to Your Growth
Your healing is important to me. I’m here to walk with you through the discomfort and toward lasting change.
