About

Lisa Sells

Life is tough. We all struggle. I am here to help. I am a military spouse of 17 years and a mother of two. I have learned the importance of flexibility and support in times of change and stress, on a personal level, and I strive to be a source of support and change for those seeking this.

My primary mode of treatment is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with a very person-centered approach. What this means is that together we look at your situation and how that impacts your thinking and feeling and ultimately the outcomes of the situation. I see my job as helping you meet the goals you've defined by working together to gain a better understanding of the challenges in life and improve your overall well-being.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, Virginia, Washington and Delaware.  I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have over 14 years of experience working with various populations and in a variety of settings. Most recently I've worked with people of all ages in private practice on issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, transitions, and parenting.
